ESTEVAN - The Grade 8 class at St. Mary's School in Estevan hosted an Innovation Fair on Thursday afternoon.
The students have been working on projects that combine innovation, technology, creativity and ingenuity during the school year. They selected an issue and tried to come up with a solution.
Some of the ideas, such as carbon capture and storage, local information, trains and bus schedules, had local applications. Others had a broader emphasis.
Other students from the school dropped by to view the projects.
Next week's edition of the Mercury will have more on this story.
