A cow abandoned this little calf after it was born. Less than a day old, it made its way to the top of a small hill and was enjoying the sunlight curled up in a pile of straw in one of the farmyards. This young but smart calf was staying out of the way of the herd and also could have been noticed by mama, who he was calling from time to time.
