Weyburn reader pays tribute to volunteers caring for flower beds

Volunteers from the CMHA in Weyburn have done a lot around town

This group of volunteers from the CMHA in Weyburn were spotted by reader Mal Barber working on flower beds downtown.

To the Editor:

Fall is here and the flowers that help show off our downtown streets are reaching the end of their bloom season.

Many volunteers’ hands have cared and nurtured their flower beds during the summer season. We must say “Thank you” to the volunteers giving back to their community and make Weyburn such a great place to live.

A group of volunteers were seen tending their flowers downtown, from the Canadian Mental Health Association.

They also can be hired to do yard work, snow removal, and deliver items to the landfill.

Thanks to all!

Mal Barber, Weyburn
