Maryfleld Sunrise Villa news

June is more than half over but this past week has been eventful. First the beautiful rain, near five inches here and now the sunshine which is making our courtyard come to life and the peonies and roses are breaking out.

June is more than half over but this past week has been eventful.

First the beautiful rain, near five inches here and now the sunshine which is making our courtyard come to life and the peonies and roses are breaking out. On June 12, we were treated to music by Garry and Keith out under the trees in the courtyard.

A couple of our residents celebrated birthdays recently, Marilyn and Grace, and we enjoyed the singing, cake and the trimmings. We also enjoyed pizza and Timbits courtesy of our villa friend, Francis Sheard. Thanks again.

Everyday sees more people out in the courtyard visiting friends so give us a call and come for a visit. Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine but don't get burnt, which is easy to do.

A personal thank you also to the United Church Sunday school kids for the card and pictures pages for our residents (especially Emily in Grade 4 and Hanna in Grade 6, wishing me a happy belated birthday). You make us feel special.
