Cheers to Dr. Allison Christie for the care she provides. In a two-week span, a local resident had to be taken by ambulance to St. Joseph鈥檚 Hospital three times. As it turned out there was something wrong. Dr. Christie was the physician who took action.听

Cheers to all of the individuals and groups who have been out picking up garbage from our streets, highways, ditches, boulevards and entrances in the past few weeks. It helps the community and the surrounding area look better.听

Cheers to Sacred Heart School/脡cole Sacr茅Coeur for 小蓝视频 selected for the new Hockey Canada academy. It鈥檚 going to be a great program for the school and for the Estevan area.听

Cheers to the people participating in the Coal Country Run/Walk virtually this year, raising money for Fresh Air Fitness and getting outside and exercising.听

Cheers to the sports organizations that have been getting ready for the start of the upcoming season. At some point in the next month, team sports should be resuming, and our kids will be back on the fields, pitches and diamonds playing games.

Cheers to the Bike and Brew that happens in Estevan twice a week. It鈥檚 another way that people are out exercising and having a good time. 听

Jeers to the Saskatchewan government for mandating that 70 per cent of the population must take a vaccination for a virus with a 99 per cent survival rate, in order to live our lives.听

Jeers to motorists who drive around at night with their headlights turned off. It鈥檚 dangerous and they鈥檙e an accident waiting to happen.听

Jeers to people who were complaining about the rain during the Victoria Day long weekend. We desperately needed the moisture, it makes the farmers happy and it reduced the fire risk. Besides, you expect rain during the May long weekend, right?听听
