The mayor and some councillors are oblivious to increased ongoing incompatibilities caused by, in part, population expansion in this city, noise nuisances, traffic generation, parking of hazardous materials nuisances and health hazards due to various noises and emissions just to name a few.
There are bylaws to deal with the above. Namely zoning bylaw 87-1178 the 24/7 noise control bylaw 2005-1699.
To the mayor and councillors of Estevan and Estevan Police Service, please do what you were elected and hired to do. For starters, long overdue enforcement of bylaws that we already have. But please let the courts interpret the legality of the bylaws.
Please, will the mayor and councillors of Estevan and Estevan Police Service be kind and obey your oath of office - the law - and govern yourselves accordingly so the rest of us, including myself, can have a healthy enjoyment of property.
