A number of City of Weyburn staff and dignitaries had a tour of the City's new reservoir and water plant facility on Friday morning. At right, Mayor Marcel Roy had a discussion with Coun. Jeff Richards. This was the official opening for the new facility, which included construction of a new 13-million-litre reservoir. This project, which will include the upgrades to the First Avenue reservoir and Mergens Street watermain later this year, cost a total of $10.6 million, with the province and federal government paying $5.3 million and the City funding the remaining $5.3 million of the project.t
