CBC commentator and journalist Rex Murphy (right) is presented with a photo book in appreciation for his speech to the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show, presented by show vice-chair Dan Cugnet. Murphy spent some time prior to his speech having a tour of the local industry and the Oil Show, and he provided his witty take on the issues facing the oil industry in western Canada. He urged producers to continue what they are doing without shame, and encouraged leaders to step up their defence of the industry to the people of Canada. He spoke to the industry luncheon on Thursday, and the day before the Show heard from researcher Vivian Krause, and from Premier Scott Moe and Alberta Premier Jason Kenney.
