Spring is quickly approaching and with the warmer weather, comes the outdoor sports season.
One of the many activities offered in Carlyle is the Minor baseball league. Serving children under 16, it is a great way to stay healthy. Although many members sit on the minor league committee no one has yet come forth to be in charge this season."We are looking for someone to take over," says Bill Wyatt, the town's head Umpire. "Until then I am taking on the job."
With Bill's busy schedule he has still managed to set up dates for the Umpire clinics.
"Although we do not currently have a location, a baseball clinic has been set up for April 14th, as well as a Softball one on the 28th"
To register your kids please attend the information meeting at Carlyle Elementary, Wednesday, followed by the registration sessions at 7:30 pm.
