Local water polo players were at Nationals in Calgary, recently.
In the girls 18-and-under youth division, Kelsey Jensen, Taylor Molde, Morgan Molde, Emma Guest, Callahan Huebner and Jenna Haupstein competed with Team Sask at Nationals from May 5 to 8. Team Sask finished the tournament with a record of three wins and three losses to capture sixth place.
Through the course of the tournament T. Molde had four goals, M. Molde 10 goals and Haupstein 10 goals. During the tournament M. Molde received two game stars and Haupstein received one.
Jensen was the goaltender for the tournament. In addition to Jensen, T. Molde, Guest, Huebner and Haupstein, Hailey Walkeden, Kristin Smart, and Rylee Molde will be competing at the 16-and-under Cadet Nationals in Langley, B.C. from May 20 to 23.
