The City of Weyburn will soon be hosting an Opening for the new Turner Curling Museum, which is located at 327 Mergens Street Northeast in Weyburn.
The unique Turner Curling Museum has been touted as a 'first in the world' and is of interest to curlers and non-curlers alike. The Turner collection features many rare, historical curling pieces, including more than 18,000 curling pins, which is one of the largest collections of curling pins in Canada.
The official opening will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. and anyone interested in attending should R.S.V.P. to Matthew Warren, Leisure Services Director, by phoning 842-3217 or by emailing [email protected] before Friday, January 6.
