The Weyburn Synchro Stars and Synchro Saskatchewan are excited to bring the annual 'Whole Athlete' camp and Marnie Eistetter Figures Competition to Weyburn this Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27. Marnie Eistetter is a long time Saskatchewan volunteer who was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2009, as a sport builder. This event has been named in her honor and Weyburn will welcome over 110 athletes and coaches from all over Saskatchewan. The camp will occur on Saturday at the Weyburn Leisure Center from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature Saskatchewan's highest level coaches and Sport Science Experts. In addition, our High Performance athletes will be in attendance for a special session from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Sunday will be a day of competition in Weyburn with the meet occurring from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with over 100 athletes competing in this event. The athletes will compete in age groups for the figures event, an event that is very technical in nature and shows off the athlete's skill and control in the water.
The Weyburn Synchro Stars also invite the public to their Winter Water show on Thursday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m.
