Nineteen members of the Weyburn Silver Seals speed swimming club attended the Assiniboia Aquatics Swim Club meet on July 3.
Four swimmers won overall medals at the meet. Breanne Walkeden won gold in the female 15 to 17 age group with first place finishes and two seconds. Claudia Lenferna won silver in the female 18-and-over age group with a first place finish and four seconds.
Two swimmers won bronze medals: Caitlin Davis in the female 11 and 12 group, thanks to a first and two thirds; and Olivia Barber in the female nine and 10 age group, thanks to a second and two thirds.
Members of the club will be travelling to Estevan on July 10 and Oxbow on July 11 for meets. Weyburn's meet will be on July 17.
