Nineteen members of the Weyburn Silver Seals travelled to Oxbow to compete in the southern provincial semi-finals on July 23.
Steven Speers took home a gold medal in the 15-17 year-old boys category. He finished first in 200 free, 100 fly and 100 free; and second in 100 back and 200 IM.
Dakken Bedore took home a gold medal in the 13-14 year-old boys category. He finished first in 200 free, 100 breast; 100 free; and 50 free; and third in 100 fly.
Callahan Huebner collected a silver medal in the 13-14 year-old girls category. She finished first in 100 fly; second in 100 back and 200 IM; and third in 200 free and 100 free.
Khloe Bedore received a bronze medal in the 7-8 year-old girls category. She finished second in 25 breast; third in 25 fly and 50 free; fourth in 25 free and 100 IM.
Other provincial qualifiers include: 15-16 year-old girls: Paige Speers received third in 100 breast; fourth in 50 free; fifth in 100 free and 100 back; sixth in 200 free.
In the 11-12 year-old girls: Olivia Bocian got fifth in 50 fly and eighth in 100 back; Caitlin Davis received second in 50 fly; fifth in 200 free; sixth in 50 fly and seventh in 200 IM.
In the 11-12 year-old boys: Tyler Grieve earned second in 100 back; fourth in 100 free and 100 breast; fifth in 200 free.
In the 9-10 year-old boys: Ruslan Edgerton received second in 50 breast; third in 50 fly and 50 back; fifth in 100 free and 50 free.
Other participants were Olivia Barber, Madeline Bocian, Marissa Davis, Chandler Dickie, Troy Dickie, Rumina Edgerton, Kiera Pittman, Reece Pittman, Devin Thomas-Perry and McKinley Thomas-Perry.
Ten members of the Silver Seals will be travelling to Humboldt on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 to take part in provincials.
