The Bantam Raiders had a very busy week with two games in five days.On Wednesday night, under the famous Mosaic Field Lights, the Bantam Raidersreceived their first win of the season.
The Raiders came out in full force and controlled the entire game from start to finish. Gage Wudrick and the offensive charged up and down the field for a total of four touchdowns.Michael Kot, Wudrick, and Reese Williams all received touchdowns to their credit.
Rushing yards were lead by Reese Williams with a total of 56 yards. Kirk Winter led in the receiving yards with 28. Wudrick had 20 attempts and nine completions.
The Raiders completed two field goal attempts, which was a first time for the Raiders.The defensive contained the Notre Dame Hounds to just two touchdowns.Leading in tackles was Alex Pitre with 11, Rhett Hutt with six, Levi Paslawski with five, and Brendan Loewen with four. Single tackle credit was given to Justin Dubiel, Justin Claude, Jessie Sidloski, Rhett Williams, Wudrick, and Jeff Whitrow. Quarterback sacks were completed by Rhett Hutt and Rhett Williams.The final score of the game was 25 to 14 for the Raiders.On Sunday afternoon, the Raiders travelled to Estevan for their final regular season game. The whole team played as a unit just like on Wednesday.
Leading the way on the d-line was Alex Pitre and Rhett Hutt with eight tackles each. Levi Paslawski followed them with six. Single tackles were Matt Geiger, Dubiel, Rhett Williams, and Whitrow.The Offensive line was quite active during the game. Wudrick marched the o-line upand down the field for two touchdowns. He had nine attempts and four completions. The rushing yards were lead by Reese Williams with 52 and receiving was Kirk Winter with 33 yards.
In the last five minutes, Estevan scored twice and received the win. The finalscore was 29-16 for Estevan.The next action for the Raiders is October 16, at the bowl game against Yorkton.
