The Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association will conduct six provincial volleyball championships this upcoming weekend.
This year's provincial championships will consist of 10 teams involved in round robin play that begins on Friday, November 18 and concludes on Saturday, November 19.
The top four teams from each pool will be placed in a bracket draw which will be played out to determine the provincial champion.
The Weyburn Comp- rehensive School boys will compete in Prince Albert in the 5A division. Other participating teams will be Regina Campbell (2008 champs), PA St. Mary (2009 and 2010 champions), North Battleford, Saskatoon St. Joseph (2010 bronze), Yorkton Regional, Regina Balfour, Saskatoon BJM, Estevan and PA Carlton (2010 4th place).
The Weyburn Comp- rehensive School girls, who are the 2007, 2008 and 2010 champions, will compete in Moose Jaw, also in the 5A division. Other participating teams will be Saskatoon Marion Graham, Regina LeBoldus, Regina Campbell, Saskatoon St. Joseph (2006 champs), Moose Jaw Peacock (2010 bronze), North Battleford, PA St. Mary, Meadow Lake and Moose Jaw Central.
