The Petro Bakken Wings battled the Yorkton Terriers in Yorkton on November 19 and came out with a 3-3 tie. The Wings had several chances to regain their two-goal cushion but found themselves in a battle in the last minute of the game. With only 16 seconds left on the clock, Yorkton scored their second goal of the game. A crowd in front of the Weyburn net set up a nice screen for the goalie, who didn't see the puck until it was in the back of the net. Billy Cuthbert picked up the tie in net for the Wings.
The Wings found themselves in Melville on November 20 to do battle with the Millionaires. The game was a back and forth affair as the Wings jumped out early to score the game's first goal 20 seconds in as Tucker Neuberger found the back of the net assisted by Lyndon Lumb. Melville replied at short time later to tie it at one, three minutes later the Wings regained the lead as Tucker Neuberger scored again, this time unassisted. The Wings regained the lead half way through the third on an unassisted goal from Cole Sjostrand, followed up quickly with another goal to tie by Melville. Lyndon Lumb reset the lead with five minutes to play with Sjostrand assisting, only to see the Millionaires bang in two more quick goals minutes apart and give them a one-goal lead, which ended up СÀ¶ÊÓƵ all they would need as they would take the win by a 6-5 final. Terrick Wilderman and Billy Cuthbert both saw net time in the losing effort. The Wings' next action is November 23 when they will host Balgonie at Crescent Point Place. The puck drops at 8:00 p.m.
