Piper Rod Stafford finishes leading the 12 rinks onto the ice for the opening ceremonies of the СÀ¶ÊÓƵern Ladies Playdowns on Friday evening at the Weyburn Curling Club. Junior curlers from Weyburn held the team names and accompanied each of the rinks out onto the ice, where they were introduced following introductory comments from Mayor Debra Button and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Dustin Duncan and from local curling officials. The playdowns determined the four teams who will represent southern Saskatchewan at the upcoming ladies provincials.
