Just a heads up, hockey is starting, no it's true, some kids have just finished up hockey school this month, the meetings are done the dates are set, the teams are finalized, and some games have been played! The kids are ready, you see them out in the driveways shooting balls at the garage doors, much to their parents dismay, or they're on the road playing a game with their friends. BUT are the parents as ready as the kids? I feel like that 2 year old that doesn't want to leave the candy store, but you might have to drag me kicking and screaming INTO the rink! I know once I get there I'll remember how much fun it was to cheer on the kids who skated as hard as they could to try and score their 1st goal or their 10th goal, or how happy it made them when they saw you cheering for them in the stands. If you're a fan of novice or bantams or anywhere in between know just know even if they don't say thanks for coming to my game that every player appreciates every fan, parent or grand parent because without them who would they play for.
See you at the rink.
Rain, Snow or even Sunshine!
