The Carlyle Cougars (Wade) put out a great effort in both of their games this weekend. Our first game was a home game played against Lampman. The Cougars had a strong second period scoring 3 of their 5 goals. Two of those goals coming from Ethan Anderson and the other from Jarred Valentine. Ethan Anderson also helped out the team with a goal in the first and the third period. Judah Wardrope had a strong game in net, making some good glove saves. Despite a strong effort, the Cougars ended up losing 10 to 5.
The second game of the weekend was played on Sunday in Stoughton. By the end of the second period it was a close game with a score of 9 to 8 for Stoughton. The Cougars enjoyed goals from many different players. Dawson Brown, Zach Faber, and Taryn Bakker each had a goal. Ethan Anderson contributed six goals to the score board, and Jarred Valentine scored the first two goals of the game. Unfortunately, Stoughton dominated the third period for a final score of 17 to 11. Great effort Cougars!
