Weyburn's Graham Delaet has done something no Canadian rookie golfer has done in more than a decade. Currently 98th on the PGA Tour money list and with a single event remaining on the 2010 schedule, Delaet has secured his card for the 2011 season. Delaet is the first Canadian rookie in over a decade to retain his card.
This season Delaet earned over $950,000 (US), placing him as the top Canadian on Tour in 2010 ahead of both Stephen Ames and Mike Weir. The top 125 maintain PGA Tour playing privileges.Mike Weir finished 133rd in his rookie season.
Delaet had an impressive Fall Series finishing T5 (Viking Classic), T25 (McGladrey Classic), T6 (Frys.com Open) and T18 (Justin Timberlake Shriners Open). Earlier this year Graham finished T3 at the Shell Houston Open, the best showing of any Canadian on Tour in 2010.
