Graham DeLaet competed at his fourth-straight Professional Golf Association tour event last week. DeLaet finished tied at 44th at the Northern Trust Open, earning $20,512.80.

This is a comeback year for DeLaet, who earned his PGA card in 2010, and then had to take a medical exemption from the tour in 2010 because of an herniated disc.

"My back is feeling really good," said DeLaet. "There's obviously going to be some fatigue because of the grind of back-to-back weeks. But generally it feels good."

Starting in the back nine during the first round, DeLaet shot a double-bogey on hole 11, a bogey on holes 12 and 18, and only one birdie on hole 13. He had two bogeys and two birdies to finish at 73, two-over-par.

DeLaet had a stronger start on the front nine of round two, shooting three birdies, and added one birdie and one bogey in the back nine to finish at 68, three-under-par. He made the cut at a total of one-under-par.

During round three, DeLaet scored one birdie, and two bogeys to finish at 73, two-over-par. He started strong on the back nine of the fourth round, by scoring three birdies and one bogey, but then shot one birdie, four bogeys and a double bogey in the front nine to finish at 74, three-over-par.

DeLaet recently competed in the AT&T pro-am tournament in Pebble Beach, the Phoenix Open and the Farmers Insurance Open.

"Pebble Beach is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It has a beautiful golf course and breathtaking scenery."
DeLaet also described Phoenix as "one big party. Golf events tend to be fairly quiet, but this event is the exception. Crowds can be rowdy, and it's the only event on Tour where you can get booed for missing the green."

After competing in five events so far in the PGA Tour this year, DeLaet is 96th in the FedExCup standings. He has made four cuts, earning $79,217.

"Homeward bound," tweeted DeLaet after his final round at the Northern Trust Open. "Haven't slept in my bed since Dec. 30. Week off and then on to the next one. A break is much needed right now."

The next event for DeLaet will be the Honda Classic on Feb. 27 to Mar. 4. This event will be held at the PGA National champion course in Palm Beach.
