Graham DeLaet recently competed in the Honda Classic, which was his sixth event for the year with the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour.

After two rounds DeLaet was cut from the event. During practice before the Honda Classic, DeLaet tweeted, "great practice day at PGA National. Excited about the week. Game is feeling good. The two-iron is back in the bag first time since '09."

Then during the first round of the Honda Classic, DeLaet shot one birdie, one bogey, and a triple bogey on hole 17. He ended up at 73, three-over-par. After the round, DeLaet tweeted, "played solid today other than one tee shot. Quick triple and to the back of the pack."

During the second round, DeLaet had no birdies, and shot three bogeys to shoot another 73. With six-over-par, DeLaet was unable to make the cut. "Not what I had expected coming into this week feeling good about my game," he tweeted. "On the positive side, I did make one birdie."

The next event for DeLaet will be the Puerto Rico Open, which will take place Mar. 8 to 11. During the same week, the World Golf Championships will be held in Florida.

After a successful rookie year in 2010, DeLaet took a medical exemption last year from the PGA Tour to rehabilitate from a herniated disk in his back.

To keep his PGA card, DeLaet has 26 starts this year to win $657,694 (the amount earned in 2011 by the 125th-ranked player, the card cutoff). To date during the 2012 season, DeLaet has golfed in six events and has made the cut four times. His total earnings are $79,217 and he has 77 points in the FedExCup.
