They handed the Prairie Storm of White City their first lost in league play by a score of 8-3. They also beat the Yorkton Terriers and Lumsden Lions 7-1 and 4-2, respectively. With those league wins they moved into second place in the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League, one point behind the Regina Senators.

In the first round of provincial play downs they were matched up against the rival Estevan Bruins. The CP Wings discarded the Bruins by the scores of 6-5 and 8-3. The CP Wings have begun their second round of provincials against the Regina Senators.

On January 21, they hosted the Senators at Crescent Point Place and pulled out a 3-2 win. The final score was close on the score sheet but not on the ice. The CP Wings took a 3-0 score into the third period where the Senators scored two late goals. The scoring was done by Jack Carleton, Trey Tendler and Nicholas Pouliot. They took a one goal lead into the second game of the two-game total points series.

The next provincial game against the Senators will be in Regina on January 25. Come out and show support this weekend when the CP Wings play host to the Moose Jaw Warriors on January 29 and the Regina Senators on January 30. Game times are at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.
