The Estevan Bruins won a key divisional game on Tuesday, earning a 3-1 victory over the Melville Millionaires on the road.
Tanner Froese, Dylan Smith and Cole Olson, into an empty net, scored for the Bruins (18-15-0-1), who opened up a four-point lead over the Mils (14-11-2-3) for second place in the Sherwood Conference.
Michael Sagen scored Melville's lone goal in the first period.
Steven Glass stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Bruins' crease, with counterpart Blake Voth turning aside 33 of 35 for Melville.
