The Estevan Bruins will have a new face on their blueline when they open the SJHL season.
The club acquired 19-year-old defenceman Dominic Perrault from the Battlefords North Stars in exchange for the rights to defencemen Dakota Nelson, 20, and Nathan Zimbaluk, 17.
The six-foot-four Perrault is entering his third SJHL season. He has also seen time with the WHL's Regina Pats.
Estevan acquired the rights to Nelson through a trade last week with Miramichi of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. Zimbaluk was on the Bruins' protected list. He spent the last two seasons with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League and also dressed for a couple games with the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL.
