The Cougars won both these games . Jan.12 the team was at home to the Kipling Royals. The Cougars were a little slow getting going in the first period. Kipling put the first point on the board late in the period with the Cougars answering back in the last two minutes with two goals. First from Shaw, Second from Big Eagle with Turgeon assisting both. Second period Carlyle really stepped up their game with some good hard skating and great passing plays to add a whopping nine points to Kipling's one. Goals were from: Turgeon, Shaw, Anderson, Big Eagle and Hengen. Assists from: McCrimmon, Turgeon, Big Eagle, Hengen, and Drake Smith. Third period Jodi Black shut down the Kipling team while her team mates continued their offensive drive and added another three goals to the scoreboard. Starr assisted by Stigings and D.
