The Estevan TS&M bantam AA Bruins played a pair of home games over the weekend, and were able to come away with two wins.
The Bruins were up against the Regina Hurricanes on Saturday, and in a high-scoring, penalty-filled matchup, Estevan prevailed 10-6. Lynnden Pastachak led the way with four goals, while Jordan Bonneteau (2), Chase McKersie, Regan Haukeness, Talys Halabuza and Blaine Herzberg had the others. Tanner Tytlandsvik got the win in goal.
The Yorkton Terriers paid a visit to the Civic Auditorium on Sunday, and while they didn't get quite get the offensive outburst like the day before, the Bruins played well defensively and came out on top 5-2.
Halabuza led the way for Estevan with a hat trick, while Haukeness and Tanner Jeannot also scored.
The Bruins (4-2-1) are back in action this Saturday against Swift Current. Game time is 1:15 p.m. at the Civic.
