The report this week covers the period of Feb. 11 - Feb. 18
Road conditions were a factor in five single-vehicle rollovers Feb. 11. Carlyle RCMP want to remind motorists to slow down when road conditions are less than ideal.
RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle accident just outside Carlyle on a grid road. The driver had lost control and rolled the van onto its side. No injuries were reported.
A driver hit an icy patch on highway 13 just outside of Arcola and rolled the vehicle. There were no injuries.
A vehicle carrying two occupants rolled on highway 13 near Forget. No injuries were reported.
There was a single-vehicle rollover on highway 13 near Kisbey. No injuries were reported. Dapper
There was another single-vehicle rollover near White Bear First Nations. There were no injuries.
Members attended to a family dispute at residence in the area. The dispute was resolved when police arrived.
Police responded to a complaint of an assault in the Carlyle area Feb.12. Members relocated one of the subjects to a safe place. The investigation is continuing.
A motor-vehicle accident between a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle was reported to police. Damage to both vehicles was minor, therefore, police presence was not required.
Members attended to a single-vehicle accident near Forget. The driver attempted to pass on an icy road, lost control and ended up in the ditch. No injuries were reported.
A complaint of an impaired driver in the Carlyle area was reported to police. Members made several patrols to locate the vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
There was a motor-vehicle accident on highway 9 north of Carlyle. The driver lost control on the icy road and rolled into the ditch. No injuries were reported.
Police responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute in the Manor area. The matter is still under investigation.
Members conducted a check stop on a young driver in Redvers Feb. 13. The male, who is under 18-year-of-age was found to be under the influence. Police issued a 30-day driving suspension to the young male.
Police issued a speeding ticket to a driver near Manor.
Members were called to a domestic dispute in the Carlyle area. One of the individuals was transported by police to another residence. The matter is ongoing.
Members received a complaint of an impaired driver. Police located the vehicle in Carlyle. They found the driver to be disqualified from driving and to be operating an unregistered vehicle. The driver was charged and the vehicle was seized.
RCMP received a request Feb. 14 from Regina Police Service to execute a warrant on a local resident who failed to attend court in Regina. The matter is still under investigation.
There was a complaint of erratic driving in the area. Members spoke to the driver involved and issued a warning.
Police received a complaint concerning a child's welfare. Members attended to the residence and found the children were okay. RCMP notified and passed the information onto Yorkton Child and Family Services.
A motor-vehicle accident was reported to police. A semi-truck had hit the ditch near Arcola. Road conditions were a factor.
Police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in Carlyle Feb. 15. Members attended and located the vehicle. Everyone was found to be in order. No further action was required.
A complaint was received from a business in Redvers that a subject was refusing to leave the premise. Members attended and arrested the subject. Police transported the subject to Carlyle and lodged him in cells overnight until sober. He was released the next morning.
A pick-up truck rear-ended a semi-truck near Forget as the semi was turning on Feb. 16. This matter is still under investigation.
There was a complaint of an assault in the Carlyle area. Members attended and spoke to both subjects involved. One subject was transported to a different area. This matter is still under investigation.
Police were notified of a hit-and-run in Redvers. The investigation is continuing.
There was a complaint that suspicious people were following a vehicle. Members located the subjects and issued them a warning. No harm was intended.
Members received a complaint of uttering threats. Police spoke to both parties involved. The complaint decided he didn't want charges laid, and therefore, members issued a verbal warning.
Police issued four separate speeding tickets around the Manor area on Feb. 17.
