A total of 19 calls were made to the Carlyle RCMP Detachment over the days covered in this report.
Dec. 17 reports began with a vehicle in a ditch near Carlyle.
Responding members met with the caller on scene.
Members found a 45-year-old male asleep behind the wheel of the vehicle.
No charges have been laid in the matter.
A complaint in the area brought members to a private home to assist with an intoxicated person.
The caller wanted the person removed from the residence.
The individual was taken into custody and lodged in detachment cells until the next morning.
A business owner called to report an attempted break-and-enter at his business.
Members attended and collected information and evidence from the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.

A call was made to report a suspicious vehicle near a residence in Pheasant Rump.
Members found the vehicle in question within the caller's yard, however the driver was nowhere to be found.
The vehicle, a fully marked business vehicle, was returned to its owners, who provided police with security camera footage of an unknown male taking the vehicle from the businesses vehicle yard.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and possible charges are pending.
Calls on Dec. 18 began with a request for member's assistance from a business in Kenosee Lake.
The business was having difficulty with four unruly male customers.
The customers, besides refusing repeated requests to leave the establishment, were also engaged in fighting amongst themselves.
Responding members found the four still at the establishment upon arrival.
The four then left the premises upon request by the RCMP.
No charges were laid in relation to the event.
Members on patrol on highway 13 near Carlyle noted a vehicle making a suspiciously wide turn at an intersection.
Charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and impaired over 0.08 have been laid in relation to the case.
A 911 call was received by the detachment from an individual claiming their vehicle was stolen.
The caller informed police that they had lent their vehicle to the third party, who then refused to return it to them.
Members were initially unable to find the vehicle in question, but a later follow-up call, where the complainant informed police that they had been intoxicated when making the call.
Further, the caller informed police that, while the car was in the possession of another person, that person had had the vehicle by the owner's consent.
A call was made to the detachment to report a roll-over of a tractor-trailer hauling crude oil.
The single vehicle accident, happened near the community of Stoughton. It left the vehicle up-ended in an irrigation ditch beside the road.
No one was injured in the accident, and no charges were laid in the matter.
A call from a complainant drew members to a private residence in the community of Carlyle.
The caller reported a case of domestic abuse.
Members responded to find the alleged victim and assailant both near the residence.
After investigating a 29-year-old was taken into custody on assault charges and lodged in cells overnight until sober.
The alleged assailant in the event was brought before a Justice of the Peace the following morning.
A call from the area drew members to a residence to assist with an inebriated individual.
After speaking with the individual in question, members transported the person to another residence.
Dec. 19 calls began with a concerned citizen calling about a potential road hazard.
The caller informed members that two large hay bales had fallen from a truck and onto the road in the area of Kisbey.
Responding members arrived as an individual showed up on the scene with a tractor.
Members that the fall had members reminded the person of the particulars of the 'insecure load' standards in the province.
A call from the area was received requesting police assistance in removing an intoxicated individual.
Responding officers arrived, and took the person to holding until sober.
The caller refused to have charges laid.
An error-call was made to 911 from the area of Pheasant Rump.
On Dec. 20, an open 911 call was received, originating from the community of Wawota.
While attempting to solicit a response from the open line, a second call was received from the same address requesting an ambulance for a medical emergency.
Members dispatched an ambulance as requested.
