The report this week covers the period of Jan. 7, 2011, to Jan. 13, 2011.
During this week, the detachment logged a total of 46 calls.
Calls on Jan. 7 began with a call to intervene in an assault.
Responding members arrested one individual who appeared intoxicated at the time.
The individual was taken to cells, and charges are pending.
A complaint of a hit-and-run was received at the detachment, originating from Carlyle.
A report of a break-and-enter drew members to Manor.
The responding members were shown a storage shed which had been broken into, and from which tools and other property had been removed.
The complainant indicated that they hadn't visited the location in some time, so the entry could have been perpetrated any time over the previous three months.
Investigation into the offence is ongoing.
Members rendered assistance to the Saskatoon crown prosecutor by serving a subpoena to an individual in Arcola.
A report of a fight between youth drew members in response.
Arriving at the scene, members noted that there were minor injuries sustained by some of the persons.
No charges have been laid in the matter.
A report of theft from a public hall in Carlyle was received by the detachment.
The caller indicated that a CD player had disappeared.
A two-vehicle MVA near Arcola was reported.
There were no injuries related to the collision, and no charges were laid.
Members were called to remove an intoxicated individual from a residence in the area.
Responders located the person, and transported them to another residence.
Calls for Jan. 9 began with a call concerning a melee that had broken out at an establishment in Carlyle.
Responding members arrested one individual at the scene, who has since been charged with public intoxication.
A call of a vehicle break-and-enter drew members to Arcola.
After a short investigation, members determined the call to be unfounded, and no crime had been committed.
A complaint of mischief to a residence was received from Kisbey.
The matter is under continuing investigation.
An MVA north of Kenosee Lake on highway 9 led responding members to summon a tow-truck.
There were no injuries reported, and no charges have been laid as road conditions were cited.
A call from concerned family drew members to patrol for an intoxicated individual who had left the residence ill-dressed for the weather.
The individual was located by members, and brought to cells to sober.
Call for Jan 9 began with a deer MVA on highway 48 near Wawota.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Jan. 10 calls began with a complaint of breech of probation.
Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Jan. 11 a call was received reporting a single vehicle MVA in the area north of Forget, where a semi had left the road.
A speeding ticket was issued on highway 9 north of Carlyle in the amount of $188, or 32 km/h over the speed limit.
A speeding ticket was issued on highway 13 near Arcola in the amount of $190, or 35 km/h over.
Members were called to a shed fire in the area near Redvers.
Thanks to rapid response, the fire was brought under control quickly, and damage was minimal.
No livestock were injured in the incident.
A speeding ticket in the amount of $137 was issued on highway 13 near Carlyle, representing 27 km/h over the speed limit.
A call of an erratic driver drew members to investigate on highway 13 near Carlyle.
The driver explained that they were fatigued. Members escorted the driver back to their residence.
The RCMP would like to remind drivers, fatigued driving is extremely dangerous, and can potentially lead to charges of driving without due care and attention.
Jan. 12 members investigated an allegation of threats uttered.
The investigation is ongoing.
A ticket was issued to a driver in Carlyle in the amount of $150 for stunting.
Members are investigating a claim from the Redvers area of uttered threats.
The alleged threats, sent electronically, continue to be investigated.
Jan. 13 began with an alarm call at a residence in Carlyle.
Responding members, after searching the property, determined the premises to be secure and the alarm a false one.
A single vehicle MVA on highway 13 was investigated.
There were no injuries in the collision, and the road conditions were determined to be a contributing factor, therefore no charges have been laid.
A collision near Arcola on highway 13 led to several persons who were involved in the two-vehicle MVA to seek medical attention at the hospital in town.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
A minor collision in Carlyle was reported for insurance purposes. Damage was reported as minimal on both vehicles.
A ticket was issued to a driver on highway 9 for not wearing a seatbelt, a citation that carries with it a fine of $175.
Assistance was lent to the Regina Police Service but serving a warrant on an individual.
The subject was released with a promise to appear.
Two tickets were issued to a driver near Wawota, one for speeding and one for no seatbelt.
The speeding ticket was for $139, and the seatbelt ticket was $175.
A speeding ticket was issued to a driver in the area of Manor on highway 13.
The amount of the ticket was $220, representing more than 50 km/h over the speed limit.
