Police began an investigation into an assault on Feb. 25 that reportedly occurred on highway 13 between Forget and Kisbey.

A concerned individual called police to report an erratic driver. Police located the subject at a well site north of Forget, and noted the person appeared to be intoxicated. The subject failed a roadside screen device and was therefore brought back to the detachment in Carlyle for a breathalyser test, which he failed. A 26-year-old male was subsequently charged with driving while impaired, driving while over .08 and obstructing a police officer.

Police made patrols in the area on Feb. 26, after receiving a call from a driver who witnessed a possible assault. Patrolling members did not locate any individuals in that area.

A seatbelt ticket was issued to a 19-year-old female in Carlyle. The fine is $175.

Police were asked to assist a family with finding two female teenagers who had not made it home. The girls were located at a friend's home.

Police and SPCA attended to an area pasture after they were informed that there were dead horses lying near a gate. Another horse had to be put down upon their arrival. The owners of the horses were spoken to after the incident, at which time the remaining horses were fed. The SPCA has decided not to press charges at this time, but is continuing to monitor the situation.

Police were called from residence in Arcola on Feb. 27 because an intoxicated individual was starting to cause problems. While the complainant was on the phone with police, the subject of the complaint left the house. The complainant did not want to press charges and the file was concluded.

Police responded to a call from a resident in the area who was complaining that an intoxicated individual was causing problems at the residence. When police arrived, the subject had left. Members made patrols in the area in an attempt to locate the individual, but were not successful. This matter is still under investigation.

There was a 911 complaint from a driver who reported to be nearly run off the road by driver turning into Kenosee Lake. A vehicle fitting the description was located by police at an establishment at Kenosee. Police went into the establishment and warned the individuals inside.

There was a false alarm at a residence in Wawota, and members were not needed.

Police began an investigation into a report of harassing text messages from Redvers on Feb. 28.

Carlyle RCMP received a request from Melville RCMP to locate an individual who needed to sign some forms. This request is still 小蓝视频 carried out.

Police were advised that an abandoned black truck had been located on highway 13 for the past week. The caller was concerned someone would hit it. A member called the owner and advised to have it moved or towed as soon as possible.

RCMP received a request from Regina Police Service to assist with a hit-and-run file. Police were asked to conduct a check on a particular vehicle belonging to a Carlyle resident who may have been involved with the incident. This matter is on-going.

Police received a request to locate an individual on March 1. The caller was concerned because the individual was supposed to arrive in Regina and appeared not to do so. The caller thought the individual might be in the White Bear area. The complainant then called back and said the individual's vehicle was spotted, and informed police the following day the individual had been located in Regina.

Members were on patrol in Manor and spotted a vehicle with expired plates, and then observed one male get into the vehicle and drive away. At this time, police pulled the vehicle over. The individual admitted to consuming alcohol and was therefore placed in the back of the cruiser to await a roadside screening device.

While waiting the required 15 minutes for mouth alcohol to dissipate, the driver became increasingly hostile. In the end he refused to submit to device and then became very aggressive towards members.

Due to his explosive demeanour, he was taken to Arcola Health Centre to be checked for drugs. He was given clean bill of health and brought to the detachment where he remained for the evening. The male was charged with four counts of assaulting a police officer, two counts of uttering threats, refusal of an approved screening device, mischief under $5,000 and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Police responded to an assault complaint near Pheasant Rump First Nation. Members found no evidence of an assault, but determined alcohol was a factor in the complaint. The subject was also intoxicated, and therefore taken to another residence on Pheasant Rump. No charges were laid.

RCMP received a report of an erratic driver who was heading south on a road toward highway 13. The caller then advised the vehicle had turned west onto highway 13. Since the driver would have been out of the detachment area by the time police caught up, the information was sent to surrounding detachments.

Police were asked to assist with removing a person from a residence in the area on March. 2. While on the phone with police, the subject of the complaint had left the residence. The caller then informed police not to bother with the call.

There is an on-going investigation into a complaint from a Carlyle residence who was receiving harassing text messages. The caller wanted police to speak to the subject to find out why the person was sending the harassing messages.

Police received a request from an individual to keep the peace while he removed items from his home. Police attended and everything was removed without incident.

Members received a request to hand out subpoenas from a law firm in regards to a trial that is taking place in Regina.

Police received a complaint that a bluish green truck had been parked on rural grid road in the RM of Moose Mountain for a few days. This matter is still under investigation.

The Carlyle Town Office reported there was an abandoned RV in an alley behind Carlyle Avenue on March 2. Contact information was provided to the town office to follow up with the registered owner.

Police received a request from Regina Police Service to attain statements from two individuals in the area regarding hit and run in Regina.

A warrant was received for an individual in Arcola who failed to appear at court for driving without a license.

A complaint of mischief was received after a vehicle was damaged in the area overnight. The caller did not hear anything but had a good idea who did it. A number of individuals were named by the caller, and were then spoken to by police. All named individuals claimed to be at home at the time this damage occurred. This matter is still under investigation.
