ESTEVAN - The United Way Estevan has received excellent support for its 46th annual fundraising telethon.
As of 5:20 p.m. Friday, the telethon had raised $93,075. Donations have been coming in throughout the first four hours of the broadcast.
The telethon went on air at 8 a.m. Friday morning. It will continue until 5 p.m. Saturday evening. The entire event is happening at the Royal Canadian Legion's Estevan branch.
Entertainers from the community have been lending their talents to the broadcast. Several schools have been part of the event.

More than 80 hand-crafted bid items are available through a silent auction. The bid item line is 306-340-4629.
Proceeds from the telethon will be directed to the United Way's member agencies and community projects.
