Oscar Rios, Tina Hudson and Shelley Van De Sype pose with their winning pieces in the 28th annual James Weir People's Choice exhibition. The top ten winners of the People's Choice were announced at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery on Jan. 31. Due to construction at the Weyburn Credit Union, the top ten will not be on display this year in their gallery. Van De Sype won first for her scratch board piece entitled "Squirt"; Hudson placed second with her photograph of the Tommy Douglas statue, entitled "A Legacy's Dream"; and Rios finished third with his soapstone work entitled "Prairie Wind". The seven honourable mentions were Jennifer Mang, Jaynie Himsl, Tory Metheral, Donn Morton, Heather van der Breggen, Jon Gillies and Deanna Kolbinson.
