Mary Deren explains how the Telehealth video-conferencing equipment works, in its small conference room on the second floor of the Weyburn General Hospital, as she highlights the need for a new hospital facility. The Telehealth videoconferencing technology is invaluable for use in providing staff and public education on health issues, but also to hook doctors or patients up with doctors and specialists in other locations; for educational conferences, however, this small space is very inadequate. The only other space available is a conference room in the basement of the hospital, where pipes labelled "asbestos" are hooked into the radiators along the wall, and the room is only slightly larger than this one.Review photo 2840 – Greg Nikkel
