It's time, once again, to start planning for the Canadian Cancer Society's biggest fundraiser.
The Weyburn Relay For Life will be held at River Park on June 10 and 11, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Teams registering online before February 14, 2011 will pay only $10 per team member, which is a $5 discount. After February 14, the fee will raise to $15 per team member. Registering off-line, in paper-form, will cost $20 per team member.
Registration is easy. Interested participants can start by forming a team that consists of up to approximately 15 people representing their family, friends, or co-workers. Then, go online to www.cancer.ca and follow the prompts to the Relay For Life registration form. Particpants can create a new team or join an existing team. It is very important to register early so that teams can start working on fundraising ideas.
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with family and friends and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost by cancer, and fight back in the hope of finding a cure for this terrible disease.
