SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - Environment Canada has lifted the severe thunderstorm watch for southeast Saskatchewan, which included Regina, Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Moosomin, Kipling and other areas.
According to the watch, issued at 2:13 p.m. Saturday, conditions are favourable for the development of very dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing destructive wind gusts, destructive hail and torrential rain.
These thunderstorms were expected to develop late Saturday afternoon and continue into the evening as a low-pressure system in Alberta moved into Saskatchewan.
The watch was lifted early Sunday.
