SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - The latest severe thunderstorm watch in southern Saskatchewan has come to an end.
The latest advisory was issued at 10:44 a.m., stating conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
The advisory covered Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Assiniboia, Redvers, Carnduff, Oxbo,w Radville, Bengough, Coronach and other areas.
It was lifted at 3:10 p.m.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
