Saturday fight night in Energy City

One man was charged under the Alcohol Gaming Regulations Act on Dec. 3 after he attempted to purchase alcohol in a local lounge while 小蓝视频 under the legal drinking age. The man had produced false identification in his attempts to purchase an alcoholic drink in the nightclub so was charged accordingly by Estevan Police Service personnel who were following up a call from management of the lounge who suspected that the man charged and another male subject were under the legal age.

Police checked back at the same lounge later that evening in response to a call regarding a person 小蓝视频 in the premises in defiance of the conditions that had been placed on him to not attend that lounge. The man had left prior to police arrival but they are still proceeding with charges.

A report of a vehicle 小蓝视频 driven erratically by a woman on the night of Dec. 3 was still under investigation by EPS members. It was noted that the woman's vehicle had been tailing another vehicle around the city.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and lodged in cells for the evening for 小蓝视频 intoxicated in public. The man had been picked up while attempting to gain access to a residence on the west side of the city. The man also had an outstanding warrant against him that had been issued in the Carlyle area. He now has a new court date.

A disturbance at a local lounge prompted police action during the latter part of Dec. 3. The people responsible for the fracas had left the area prior to police arrival.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and lodged in cells for public intoxication on the night of Dec. 3. He was taken into custody following a disturbance outside a local lounge.

During the day shift of Dec. 4, EPS members responded to a call regarding an intoxicated male attempting to enter a vehicle in the driveway of a north central Estevan residence. The man was arrested for 小蓝视频 intoxicated in public.
The theft of some gasoline from an east central gas station was reported to police who set up in investigation into the incident.

Police were next asked to attend to a north central gymnasium where it was reported that two youngsters were trapped in an equipment room. The obstacle that barricaded the door was removed and the children were freed and no injuries were reported.

During the night shift of Dec. 4, EPS members were called to the parking lot of a local business in response to a report of a suspicious vehicle and occupants.

On arrival at the lot, police discovered four young people smoking marijuana and in possession of alcohol.
As a result of this discovery, police laid nine charges. All four youths were charged with possession of a controlled substance, as well as charged with 小蓝视频 minors in possession of alcohol. One of the youths also had outstanding warrants against him for an offence committed under the Traffic Safety Act. He is facing a new charge of failing to attend court under the Summary Offences Procedure Act.

The court dates have been fixed for Jan. 13.

Police were required to attend to a number of fights during the course of the evening of Dec. 4. This led to the arrests of two people.

The first incident involved a 30-year-old man who was arrested for 小蓝视频 in breach of the peace and for public intoxication.

When members were called back to the same lounge a short time later, one of the involved combatants had left the scene while another fighter remained on site, so he was escorted from the lounge. While 小蓝视频 taken from the bar, the man became upset and belligerent with police so he was subsequently arrested for 小蓝视频 intoxicated in public and lodged in cells until sober.

A third fight at another lounge on the night of Dec. 4 resulted in one of the parties involved in the incident leaving the scene while the second combatant re-entered the bar, at which time he was escorted out by police and sent on his way. No further action was required by police.

A fourth fight at a local convenience store brought forth more police attention that same night. Again, one of the fighters had left before police arrived on the scene while another was sent on his way after speaking with police and responding to their questions. No further action was deemed necessary.

On that same night, a 30-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication after police received a complaint that the subject was passed out in the hallway of an apartment complex. He was lodged in cells until sober.

Before the evening shift ended, police were called to the north side of the city in response to a report that several subjects had been spotted moving around a garage. A lawn mower had been removed from the garage but the subjects fled on foot when a passerby yelled at them. The lawn mower was returned to the garage and police will continue their investigation into the incident.

That same night, a 24-year-old man was arrested for 小蓝视频 in breach of conditions of his undertaking. He had been found as a passenger in a vehicle around 2 a.m. Dec. 5 when he was supposed to be in his residence by 10 p.m. Dec. 4, as part of the curfew arrangements. Police then sought to remand the subject into custody until his Dec. 6 court date.

A domestic disturbance at a local apartment complex on Dec. 5 required EPS attention. Both subjects were intoxicated so police dealt with the matter as best they could and departed the scene only to be called back later when one of the subjects embroiled in the dispute began bothering other tenants in the building. He was then arrested and lodged in cells for 小蓝视频 in breach of the peace and for public intoxication.

A second domestic disturbance, this time in the Westview area of the city, required police attention on the night of Dec. 5. After speaking with both parties, it was determined that one of the subjects would leave the residence for a period of time and no further police action was required .
