Members of Weyburn's Alexandria Rebekah Lodge Isabelle Butters and Terry Higgins were in Kansas City, Missouri recently to attend the International Session of Rebekah Assemblies. During the session, Laura Argue of Regina was elected as Warden (first vice-president) of the international body.
A recent contribution of $20,000 was made by the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Saskatchewan to the Saskatoon Hospitals Foundation for new eye equipment. With this donation, the organizations have contributed over $1 million to Saskatchewan hospitals' eye departments for specialized equipment.
The Weyburn Rebekahs have contributed generously to this project.
