Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of October 11 to 17:
*On October 17, police attended a complaint of a motor vehicle accident on Government Road. One driver was charged with following too closely. There was a minor injury.
*On October 16, police were called to investigate a cell phone theft at the Weyburn mall. The matter is under investigation.
*Police were called to a report of a theft at a local business compound. The matter is under investigation.
*Police were called to disturbances at a local restaurant and two bars. The matters were resolved prior to police arrival.
*On October 15, police were called to investigate an attempted break and enter to a residence. The matter is under investigation.
*On October 14, police were called to investigate a possible theft, the matter is under investigation.
*On October 12, police investigated a complaint of assault. The matter was resolved without charges 小蓝视频 laid.
*On October 11, police received a complaint of a telephone scam. Residents are reminded to NEVER give banking or personal information out over the phone.
*Police are asking for the public's assistance in solving a case where a parked vehicle had fireworks set-off in it, causing a fire and substantial damage. Anyone with information is encouraged to call police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 TIPS.
*The Weyburn Police Service attended 117 calls for service during this reporting period, many of them alcohol related. There were also several thefts reported.
