Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period from October 4 to 10:
*On October 10, police charged two males for possession of marijuana.
*Police investigated a break, enter and theft to a residence. Electronics and jewelry were stolen.
*On October 9, police attended a break, enter and theft to a residence. Assorted jewelry was stolen.
*On October 8, police attended an accident in which a vehicle had collided with the rear of another vehicle. One occupant was suspected to have been injured.
*Tools and a tool belt were reported as stolen from a vehicle.
*A male was robbed and assaulted by two suspects; he was injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
*Police responded to a domestic complaint by a local hotel. A male was charged with a number of traffic offences and Criminal Code offences.
*On October 7, a wallet was reported as stolen out of a vehicle.
*On October 6, police attended a break, enter and theft to a business where a large quantity of copper wire was stolen. A suspect was caught later that day and charged with possession under $5,000 and break, enter and theft charges.
*A purse was reported as stolen out of a vehicle.
*A garage door was kicked in and a bike was stolen. Through investigation, police caught the accused and the bike was returned.
*On October 5, police attended an accident in which a female was injured and a male was charged for driving without a valid licence.
*On October 4, police assisted the Health Department when they searched a residence and determined that it was unfit for occupancy.
*Police responded to a break and enter to a residence in which sporting equipment and tools were stolen.
*Police received a report that assorted graffiti was spray painted onto Souris School.
*Police attended five commercial and five residential alarms during this reporting period and 132 calls for service.
