A report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of September 27 to October 3:
*On October 2, police were called to a residential break and enter complaint where electronics, cash and gift cards were stolen.
*Police were called to two other residential break and enter complaints; in one case only jewellery was taken, in another case, electronics, clothing and a flag were stolen.
Anyone with information regarding these occurrences is asked to call Weyburn Police or Crime Stoppers.
*On October 1, while on patrol, police discovered a roll-over accident on Fifth Street West. The matter is currently under investigation.
*Police continue to receive calls to investigate thefts from parked vehicles.
*Police were called to investigate a residential break and enter. Entry was gained through a door. The suspect was interrupted and fled with some cash.
*On September 30, police were called to investigate a motor vehicle accident. The incident escalated to where one party assaulted the other. The matter is under investigation.
*Police investigated a complaint of a hit and run accident.
*Police attended a complaint of mirrors that were kicked off of a vehicle; the matter is under investigation.
*On September 29, police were called to a disturbance at a local government office; the matter was resolved without incident.
*On September 28, police attended to a complaint of a theft from a vehicle. Residents are again reminded not to leave valuables in their vehicles and to keep their doors locked. Report any suspicious activity to police.
*Police arrested and charged a Halbrite male with impaired driving and driving while over .08. He will be appearing in court in October.
*On September 27, police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the Third Street and Highway 39 intersection. One driver was charged with disobeying a red light. The Weyburn Fire Department was called to assist.
*Police were dispatched to two calls regarding damage to vehicles; in one case a side mirror was broken off and in the other case the roof of a vehicle was cut. Both matters are under investigation.
*Police were called to investigate a theft of money. A Weyburn male was charged and will be appearing in court in October.
*Police arrested and charged a Weyburn male for breaching a criminal undertaking; it is alleged that he breached a curfew condition. He will appear in court in October.
*The Weyburn Police Service received 135 calls for service during this reporting period.
