Police deal with alcohol-related incidents

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of June 21 to 27: *On June 27, Weyburn Police and RCMP investigated a careless driver complaint. A 25-year-old Weyburn male was charged with impaired driving and refusing a breath test.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of June 21 to 27:

*On June 27, Weyburn Police and RCMP investigated a careless driver complaint. A 25-year-old Weyburn male was charged with impaired driving and refusing a breath test. He will be appearing in court in July.

*On June 26, police attended a dispute at a local bar. The matter was resolved without incident.

*On June 25, police charged two males with the 2009 break and enter of the Weyburn Dairy Queen. Currently, both males are 小蓝视频 sought by police.

*On June 24, police attended to a disturbance at a local bar. The matter was resolved without incident.

*On June 23, a 22-year-old Weyburn male was arrested and charged for impaired driving and driving while over .08.

*Police attended to a call where youths were jumping from a bridge into the Souris River. The public is reminded that this is a very unsafe practice.

*Police attended to a call in which threats were alleged by text. The public is reminded that any threat to a person, even by electronic means, is a criminal offence.

*On June 22, police attended a domestic dispute in the city, the matter was resolved without incident.

*On June 21, police attended a hit and run accident at Detour Bar and Grill. The matter is under investigation.

*Police attended to a complaint of used needles in front of a local business. Residents are encouraged to call police when they see objects of this nature.

*During this reporting period there were 124 calls for service, many of them alcohol related.
