Pangman (cpd) The Ladies Auxiliary meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7 in the Sunnyview Place staff room, starting at 9:30 a.m. Anyone interested in joining the auxiliary, or helping raise money for the Home and Health Centre with ideas, or donating their time, are welcome to attend.Visiting with Val Heustis over the weekend of Aug. 21-22 was her daughter Kelly and Evan Clifton, Kaden and Jayme from Regina.Darlene Kessler returned home on Aug. 19 after spending time in Nebraska with her son Cody and his family daughter-in-law Terry Kessler, Riley, James and Colby.A slo-pitch tournament was held in Pangman on Aug. 21 with 10 teams competing. Devon Johnson from Pangman won first in the A event, the Little Amego team from Ogema took second in the A event, and Jenna Myrens team from Ogema placed first in the B event.Matthew Kessler from Saskatoon spent the Aug. 20-22 weekend in Pangman visiting with his parents Boyd and Debbie Kessler. He participated in the slo-pitch tournament.Word has been received of the passing of Brian Ulkrickson, age 44 of Winnipeg, a former resident of Parry. Interment will be held in Saskatchewan at a later date.Emily Stillwell from Moose Jaw spent an afternoon with her cousin Dorothy Evans at the Sunnyview Place on July 30. Then on Aug. 14, nieces from Calgary and from Regina came to visit with Dorothy.A beginners yoga or pilates class could be started in Pangman, taking place one night a week. Interested residents can contact Sabrina Quigley, as enough interest should be shown before an instructor is arranged. The day of the week will depend on when the instructor is available to come to Pangman.Tony Vanderplattes returned to Tom and Boyd Kesslers farm on Aug. 22, after spending a week visiting his mom and family and friends in Fort Frances, Ont. While at the Kessler farm, Tony spent four days visiting and helping with farming before leaving for his home in Prince George, B.C. on Aug. 27.Six residents participated in the weekly five-pin bowling tournament at Sunnyview Place on Aug. 26, bowling 11 frames. Ada Murray took first for the ladies scoring 158 points, and Alfred Redenberg took first for the men with a score of 100 points. Ruth Bartlett volunteered her time to help set up pins and help some residents.Connie and Wayne Lozinsky returned home on Aug. 26 from their holiday, during which they attended a family reunion north of Saskatoon.
