Pangman (cpd) - The Pangman Dance Club are selling three different chocolates. One may purchase them from Ocean Larson or Nikka Ruiz or at the Pangman Co-op food store. Proceeds will be going to the Dance Club.
The Pangman Grade 12 class will be holding a bottle drive on Mar. 13 starting at 10 a.m. The proceeds will be going to the Grade 12 graduation fund. Please phone the school to make arrangements for pick up or drop off if you won't be home.
On Feb. 26, visiting and helping to celebrate Beryl McDowell's birthday at Sunnyview Place was her brothers Blaine and Donna Morrison from Stoughton, Laverne and Ruth Morrison from Melfort, sister-in-law Edna Morrison from Bengough and her nephew Jim Morrison from Melfort. During the afternoon Blaine and Wayne Moerike and Florence Galbraith supplied the entertainment for the residents and guests with music and comedy.
The Old Kids From the Block from Ogema will be coming to Sunnyview Place on March 10 to entertain the residents with music. Anyone who would like to come and listen is welcome.
On Mar. 2, eight residents of Sunnyview Place played their weekly five pin, seven frame bowling tournament with Norma Morrow placing first with a score of 86 and Ada Murray and Alfred Redenberg tying for second place with their score of 76.
Violet Kohli is the new resident of Sunnyview Place.
On Mar. 3 and Mar. 4 a retirement farewell was held at the Pangman Radius Credit Union for Kathryn Aspen as she retired on Mar. 4. Ted Struthers, manager of the Radville Credit Union, and Larry Lillejord, manager of the Ceylon Credit Union, and many Pangman and district residents attended. Coffee and donuts were served.
The Pangman School students returned back to school on Feb. 28 after having their one week winter break of ugly weather.
