CORONACH – It was another end of August party the likes folks in Coronach won’t soon forget.
The Old Coronach Street Festival roared with excitement on Aug. 26, once again building on continued success. What began as an annual vendor’s market had grown to a full day of activities.
“This year we’ve added more entertainment all day,” said Kelsey Manske, one of the organizers of the popular event. Big additions this year included monster truck rides, the fantastic Creeland Dancers, and two bands (Annie and the Uncannies and Wildfire).
The festival had a change of venue this year, shifting over to the museum and school grounds as to avoid all the maintenance work 小蓝视频 done on the usual downtown site.
Manske explained that proceeds from the event go back into the community for beautification projects. Two new murals on the museum and a couple of self-watering planters have been added, resulting from last year’s festival fundraising dollars.
What really makes the annual festival come together is all the community partners that pitch in to make the event a top-class affair. All that hard work certainly pays off with an event that draws people to Coronach from many miles around.
