School is back in session at the Weyburn Comprehensive School with the second semester having begun on January 31. Students will be busy familiarizing themselves with new classes and new teachers.
Parents are reminded that there will be no report cards printed or distributed, go on "Home Logic" to get student results from the first semester.
The basketball teams were at tournaments in Radville, Moose Jaw and Yorkton over the weekend and this weekend the junior girls are in Yorkton while the senior boys are hosting a home tournament. The first half of the McLeod Series will be in Estevan on February 1 with the second half in Weyburn on March 1.
A bus load of staff, chaperones and students will be off for the annual ski trip to Banff on February 4.
There will be a parent/grad meeting on February 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cafetorium. Information will be given out and parents can sign up for the Chem-free committee portion of the event. Graduation this year will be on Tuesday, June 28.
