TCA (The Containment Answer) Marketing Ltd. has set down roots in Carlyle. The family-owned-and-operated business opened their branch office here in April. The business has been a leading supplier of secondary containment systems in the Western Canadian Oil and Gas Industry for the past 10 years.
"As a family-owned-and-operated business with a home office in Taber, Alberta, we felt the opportunity to grow our business has never been better than now in south east Saskatchewan. We have recently teamed with a southern Alberta manufacturing company to produce our own line of secondary containment products. All of the components of our containment systems are Canadian made by our skilled Canadian labour force. Local manufacturing combined with local design and engineering has allowed us to answer our clients ever changing containment needs."
TCA Marketing provides producers with containment solutions for everything from small pop tanks to large tank farm construction. Their site specific designs, along with a wide range of liner products, help the business provide solutions needed in todays environmentally influenced oil industry. "We are able to approach the client with a design that is already approved, allowing them to focus on the site design."
TCA offers professional installation of all of their products. Their crews are experienced in everything from the assembly of the system to the construction of tank foundation rings. The company offers specialized liner installations and repairs, allowing the customer the option to repair or replace.
Additionally, the company has a longstanding relationship with Nilex Incorporated. Nilex provides TCA Marketing with all of their liner and fabric products. Their current Carlyle stock includes standard size containment systems and liners and geotextile fabrics.
The move to Carlyle posed an interesting challenge for the family-run business. It meant that someone would have to leave their home in Alberta to pursue the expansion. With a young family, Chris saw the expansion as a great opportunity to get a fresh start in what is already a very busy area for their containment business. "The small town hospitality has been great in everything from help around the shop to meeting people downtown. For the business, Carlyle offers a centralized location with affordable shop space to get started."
So far, the company has been able to provide service to the area ranging from Estevan to Virden and down to Waskada. The expansion comes with an advantage to customers who are now able to pickup materials without the cost of expensive freight bills. Chris and Rianna, along with their two children, are very excited about this the expansion. It is an exciting time for TCA Marketing Ltd.
