PONTEIX — Thirty-eight-year-old Greg Klein from Assiniboia, the subject of a missing person investigation, has been found deceased, say Ponteix RCMP.
Police say he was located deceased on July 24 and that initial investigation indicates his death is non-suspicious in nature. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service continues to investigate.
Klein was last seen walking on a grid road east of Highway 58 near Waverley at approximately 9:30 p.m. July 21.
On July 23, investigators asked residents who live north of Highway 18 and near Highway 58 from the Glentworth to Waverley RM area to check their properties, particularly outbuildings, for any signs of Greg Klein and or items that seemed out of place.
RCMP said in Monday's release, "Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time."
